The students of NSIT are given Placement Training from the first semester. A specialized industry specific Semester Wise cumulative syllabus is followed for both aptitude and soft skill. The students are tested by Merit Trac after each semester's training. The Placement Training syllabus is differentiated as Assessable and Non assessable. The assessable portion consists of Aptitude, Logical, Quantitative and Verbal Sessions.
Semester 1
Assessable:
The students are given Basic English Foundation Programme for Cambridge University's Business English Certification
Non-Assessable
The students are given orientation & Motivation and given guidance on how to transform themselves from school to college. They understand their strengths and weakness and based on SWOT analysis they set their aspirations and goals.
Semester 2

The students are exposed to various management techniques in Time Management,Prioritization & Decision Making, Communication and Mind Mapping.

Intensive Practice sessions are conducted in Aptitude - Verbal, Quants & Logical

Various Communication Skills like Interpersonal Communication, Writing Skills and Creative/Lateral Thinking are Practised in Teams. This develops their Leadership Skills and Team Dynamics. They learn the importance of Resource Planning and Emotional Quotient.
Semester 4
Assessable:
Intensive Practice sessions are conducted in Aptitude - Verbal, Quants & Logical.
Non-Assessable
Various Communication Skills like Interpersonal Communication, Writing Skills and Creative/Lateral Thinking are Practised in Teams. This develops their Leadership Skills and Team Dynamics. They learn the importance of Resource Planning and Emotional Quotient.
Semester 5
Assessable:
Intensive Practice sessions are conducted by In-House training team in the topics such as Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning

Communication skills are important in many facets of their lives, from their professional careers to social events and personal lives. Communication skills training is very important for students who hail from remote areas. They will also get hands-on training in Resume Writing/ Preparation.
Semester 6
Assessable:
Organize various training programmes with reputable external training organizations and in-house trainers to instruct students in the areas of quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal reasoning.
Non-Assessable
Students will focus on interview skills such as attire, body language - postures and gestures, eye contact, attitude, teamwork, group discussion, and mock interviews throughout this period. They also have the opportunity to interview with MNC HR professionals during the HR Conclave Meet, which takes place once a year.
Semester 7
Assessable:
Organize numerous training programmes with respected external training organisations and in-house trainers to test students on themes such as numeral ability, quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal reasoning, and interview skills using online platform tools and offline paper evaluation. These sorts of skills will help students to crack the interview rounds in various recruitment drives.
Non-Assessable
EDC Cell conducts several activities to train and motivate students in Planning & Organizing, Recognizing Opportunity, Critical & Creative Thinking, and Analytical Skills, which are required for students to effectively build their own startup firm and create jobs. Our motto is to create jobs rather than seeking a job.
Semester 8
Assessable:
In this Phase, Our students will primarily focus more on employment opportunities created by our organization by inviting various Tier 1,2 & 3 companies for the recruitment drive.
Non-Assessable
Students who wish to pursue further education in India or abroad are provided training in areas such as Gate, Tancet, CAT, MAT, IELTS, GRET, and others.
Our training methodology is more suited to competitive exams like IBPS, SSC, and UPSC.
